Gold plated jewelry lasts 6-18 months of regular wear, depending on plating thickness. IP/PVD vacuum plating lasts much longer than standard electroplating.

Our gold plated pieces use 18K gold IP plating over stainless steel or copper, with a color-retention coating and 48-hour salt spray testing.

For longer-lasting gold-tone pieces, we recommend gold plated stainless steel necklaces over brass or alloy.
